Produced by songwriter and Billy Blue Records co-founder Jerry Salley, whose songs have been recorded by Elton John, Loretta Lynn, Chris Stapleton and Reba McEntire, the album is executive produced by the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Convention in conjunction with the Athens State University Foundation. The lineup pairs bluegrass legend Del McCoury with guitarist Trey Hensley on “Gonna Lay Down My Old Guitar,” singer Bradley Walker with Country, Bluegrass and Musicians Hall of Fame Member, Ricky Skaggs on “Blue Railroad Train,” and country singer Alex Miller with fiddler and singer Carson Peters on “Hillbilly Boogie.” It also includes recordings by The SteelDrivers, The Grascals with harmonica player and Grand Ole Opry member, Charlie McCoy, Riders in the Sky, The Gibson Brothers, Appalachian Road Show, and more.
