In 1972, the Queen of Soul revisited her gospel roots with 2 concerts recorded live at L.A.’s New Temple Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Cleveland directing the Southern California Community Choir. The final LP (which hit Top 10 Pop and won a Grammy for Best Gospel Album) was co-produced by Aretha, Arif Marden and Jerry Wexler. This release marks the 1st release of all 28 songs Aretha performed at both shows and features complete remastering and lots of bonus material.SIDE 1:
