Jack Jacobs is in the wrong place at the wrong time, and he witnesses a mob murder. Before you can say "Al Capone," the DEA uproots him and his wife from their comfortable lives and gets Jack a job in the only place the gangsters won't look for him-in a half dead urban church. The bewildered couple do their best to play their parts, but on Jack's first Sunday, the Senior Pastor keels over dead in the pulpit. The pretender is thrown into a real journey of faith. Could a make-believe minister be the answer to their prayers?
