Mary was born without sin and remained sinless her entire life. She was chosen by God to be His mother, and when she said “yes” to the angel, she agreed to bring Christ to the world. Mary was present when Jesus performed His first miracle and as Christ died on the cross. When Christ gave Mary to His disciple, John, she became the mother of all Christians. Mary was also present at Pentecost when the Holy Spirit descended on Apostles. At the end of her life, Mary’s body was assumed into heaven, where God crowned her Queen of Heaven and Earth. For all time, Mary’s soul continues to proclaim the greatness of the Lord!
