Angels in Our Room is a story of one couple's journey through infertility and an angelic encounter that gives hope to us all.

The Bible tells us that God will give us the desires of our hearts, but for couples walking through the long, lonely road of infertility, that promise can feel empty. GL and Jason Mendenhall have been there. For nearly ten years, they took test after pregnancy test, praying desperately for those positive pink lines.

As the title Angels in Our Room suggests, Jason and GL had an incredible experience with actual angels in their bedroom. And what the angels revealed to them has significant implications for every single one of us.

GL Mendenhall grew up in a small farming town in the Midwest. She was often found singing at a wide array of events throughout her community in her younger years, which contributed to her immense love of music to this day.

In her early twenties, she met and married her husband, a now-retired navy pilot. As a twenty-year Navy wife, she has navigated many ups and downs, learning the importance of perseverance in the face of difficulty. During her unexpected struggle with infertility, God revealed an incredible truth, and that message is the basis for Angels in Our Room.

In addition to writing, GL is a real estate agent with a love for interior design, antiques, and travel. As a graduate of Mississippi State University, GL takes game days seriously as she cheers on the Bulldogs from her home in Franklin, Tennessee. Out of everything she’s done in her life, her favorite role is the one she waited nearly ten years to have—mom.
